INDUSTRY SESSIONS

BMUS are very grateful for the support of our industry partners during these unprecedented and difficult times.  Although it is disappointing that we can't meet in person this year we are pleased to be able to bring a flavour of what our sponsors normally bring to the conference Technical Exhibtion.

Our Gold and Silver sponsors will be delivering  the timetabled content listed below , these sessions are free to watch and can be added to your Agenda whilst booking for the online conference under 'Add-Ons' .

The sessions are listed in date order and further sessions will be listed, and added to the programme, over the coming weeks.  As these additional sessions are added, if you are already booked to attend the conference you will be informed and be able to add these to your Agenda at a later date.

Musculoskeletal ultrasound with the ACUSON Sequoia

This bitesize instructional video offers an overview of the shoulder ultrasound examination focussing on the rotator cuff and featuring the ACUSON Sequoia with BioAcoustic technology.

With the increasing prevalence of MSK ultrasound referrals in the UK, the shoulder examination is one of the most commonly undertaken studies. This short video illustrates a step-by-step approach to this examination, identifying the standard views and anatomy. It demonstrates some of the AI features of the ACUSON Sequoia which help to streamline the examination and simplify the workflow for clinicians whilst optimising the clinical image quality.

The video features clinical applications specialists from Siemens Healthineers. Louise Newbould is our representative in the Northeast of England and holds a PGC in musculoskeletal ultrasound. Sherene Reardon-John, our representative in Wales and the Southeast, is a GI and OBGYN sonographer and believes that the fluid seen in her subacromial subdeltoid bursa was the result of her usual high level of commitment at a dance class the day before she filmed this video.
